Pierce County to hold hearing on six-month data center moratorium

Pierce County Commissioners are scheduled to hold a 9:15 a.m. public hearing on a six-month moratorium on accepting any data center applications. A hearing on KGP Services LLC’s application to expand a construction and demolition landfill is struck through on the agenda and marked “WITHDREW CUP 10-7-26.” The board is also scheduled to consider the highway superintendent’s 2025 year-end certification and distress warrants. The Board of Equalization meets first at 9:00 a.m.
