Pierce County adopts road plan, receives $20,000 toward sheriff body cameras

Pierce County Commissioners adopted Resolution #2026-18, the One and Six Year County Road Plan for 2026/2027, after a public hearing with no written comments or objections. A deputy presented a $20,000.00 check from Blattner Energy LLC toward body cameras. Bid quotes ranged from $69,000 to $79,000 with 5-year contracts. The board also approved two underground utility crossings and the claims, each by a 3-0 roll call vote.
